Miramar First-time Homebuyer Program

 

 

 This program provides down payment and closing cost assistance to very-low and low income first-time homebuyers. The amount of assistance varies with income level and is available on a first-come, first-qualified basis until no more funding remains under the program.

Assistance is in the form of a 15-year, 0% interest deferred second loan that reverts to a grant if all program conditions are met.

About

Ramone Walker is a full-time realtor since 2006, a member of the National Association of Realtors and Miami Association of realtors. Ramone currently serves as President on the board of Murano at Hampton Park, as a director on the  Economic Development Action Plan for the city of Miramar Florida and he was a past President of Misty Lake Condominium Association. Ramone’s daily job description entails being responsible for all day-to-day management decisions and for implementing his long and short-term plans. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration double majoring in Finance and International Business from Florida International University and he holds a Web Development Degree from Sheridan Technical College.

Top Duties and Qualifications

Ramone Walker is responsible for overseeing real estate transactions between buyers and sellers. His duties include drafting contracts for buyers and sellers, negotiating sale prices between buyers and sellers and leading a team of Real Estate Agents to help them close deals.

These duties are different if he is working with a seller or buyer. 

Some of these responsibilities include:Listing homes for sale, usually on the Multiple Listing Service (MLS)Sharing brokerage listings with other MLS brokers to get buyers to go to listings

Advising home sellers on how they better prepare their home for listing and showings

Supervising property showings

Reporting results and feedback of the sale to sellers

Helping buyers locate properties within their desired geographical area, price range and other criteria

Assisting buyers with visiting properties

Working with buyers during the sale
